What is Fascia?

Fascia is a band or sheath of connective tissue that supports or attaches to our internal organs and all other internal structures, like a 3D Web wrapping around and reaching down to our cellular levels as a continuous structure existing from head to toe without interruption. Fascia is pliable and relaxed while in a healthy state.  With physical trauma, emotional trauma, inflammation, or scarring the fascia becomes tight and less pliable causing restrictions and tension in the body.  Repetitive stresses and traumas can cause cumulative results on the body resulting in symptoms producing pain, headaches or restricted range of motion.

What is Myofascial Release?

Myofascial Release is a safe and effective hands on approach, utilizing a multitude of Myofascial Release techniques and movement by applying gentle sustained pressure without oils or creams to the Myofascial connective tissue restrictions to eliminate pain and restore range of motion.
